Chanel at Harrods

The Brompton road store façade will feature Chanel themed windows, inspired by Karl Lagerfeld's most recent Ready-to-Wear collection. In-store fashion and beauty boutiques are staged alongside an installation based on the iconic Chanel design codes, as defined by Coco Chanel, which include pearl, monochrome and the camellia flower motif.
The one-off Chanel fashion boutique is located on the ground floor and is accessible from Brompton and Hans Road. Exterior walls are back and white, embossed with lions heads. Inside, the boutique splits into three rooms, one red, one green and one blue, displaying accessories, bags, shoes, and fine jewellery against a backdrop of a sumptuous, magical forest. On Monday 5th September Harrods will host a Chanel takeover in honour of the iconic brand's lasting influence and creativity. The beauty boutique is also located on the ground floor and showcases the "Knightsbridge Collection", created by Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel make-up.
The installation on the Third Floor titled "Une Promenade", open to the public on Tuesday 6th September, completes the Chanel experience at Harrods. With a theme of "Coco in Wonderland" the entrance is marked by a curtain of pearl-like beads and takes the visitor on a journey through the aforementioned Chanel codes.
