Having looked through all of our film footage from Formby, although we initially thought the idea really worked, part of me is still intrigued to film without actually using out designer Laura's Clothing. In one respect it seems like the obvious choice, and the right path to include her work within a promotional film based on her concept- but at the end of the day this is still Our final project. Initially we wanted to portray the theory mood and concept behind her ideas, not necessarily the final outcome. However having seen her collection and how fabulous it was it seemed like it almost went unsaid that we included it within our film.
Sarah and I have chatted over the spring break using Skype. We've discussed the idea and decided to move things on and focus on the thought processes an mood as when we were filming using her collection it was moving more towards how Laura would like the clothing portrayed which limited us creatively and doesn't necessarily reflect our own work...
